Presumably, at best, they're just going to report the Garritan samples accurately - they're not going to improve them. Doesn't a sound card just take digital data and convert to analogue audio? Is there really a huge range of capability in this task? I've never understood the whole 'soundcard' thing. Are they my best bet to get the Garritan voices to really 'sing'? I'm not familiar with these external devices.
